What does the Holiday Club involve?
Every holiday session includes three hands-on activities: cooking, craft and a fun science experiment.
Children rotate through each experience in small groups, ensuring everyone participates fully. Our sessions are designed to build confidence, creativity and curiosity, all while having a wonderful time.
What age group is this suitable for?
Our School Holiday Club is designed for children aged 4–9 years.
Activities are thoughtfully adapted so both younger and older children feel supported, engaged and challenged at the right level.
What are the session times?
We offer two options:
3-hour session (9am-12pm)
5-hour extended session (9am-2pm)
How much does it cost?
3-hour session: $90
5-hour session: $150
All materials and ingredients are included — there are no hidden extras.
Can my child attend more than one session?
Absolutely!
Each session offers fresh activities and new creative experiences, so many families choose to book multiple days across the holidays.
How many children are in each session?
We keep our groups intentionally small to ensure a high-quality experience.
Each session is limited to 12 children, with supervision by one qualified teacher and one assistant, allowing for plenty of individual support and guidance.
Is this just childcare?
Not at all.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Hi! I'm Ali.
HeadStart Holiday Clubs are designed and led by Founder, Ali Carter, a qualified and experienced primary school teacher with a passion for supporting children in their early years.
Ali has taught across private schools on the Coast and in Brisbane and understands exactly what helps children thrive — both academically and emotionally — in the early years of school.
Our Holiday Clubs are not just “activities to fill the day.” They are carefully designed, teacher-led sessions that combine fun, creativity and structured learning to keep children engaged and growing during the school break.
Ali believes holidays are the perfect opportunity to build confidence, strengthen skills and nurture curiosity — all without pressure. Her approach is calm, nurturing and highly personalised. Each child is supported in a way that feels encouraging, achievable and confidence-building.
The HeadStart Club Holiday Program is a small-group, teacher-led session designed to:
• Maintain learning momentum over the holidays
• Build confidence before the next school term
• Strengthen literacy and numeracy foundations
• Encourage creativity, curiosity and independence
• Help children return to school feeling capable and ready
